Melissa A. Buckley is the sole lawyer in the firm and is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Connecticut law school.

John J. Buckley, after service in the Army Air Force in World War II, graduated Yale University and the University of Connecticut law school. In 1962, he and his then-partner founded the New Haven law firm of Buckley & Parrett, then becoming Buckley, Parrett & Porto, practicing in the area of negligence, personal injury. criminal defense and family law with John splitting his time between business and the practice. John returned to business until 1980, when he returned to the law with his daughter, before becoming of counsel until his death in 2018.
